This grenade's contents are expelled upon actuation of a CO2 cartridge that will affect a confined area consisting of approximately 1500 square feet.
OPERATION: The Flameless Expulsion Grenade has a 1.5-second delay,
followed by a submunition that mechanically activates a CO2 cartridge.
The released CO2 pressure expels the powder though one or two (or both)
ports on the side of the canister within seconds. The Flameless Expulsion
Grenade is extremely safe for indoor use. The extremely light powder from
the agent will remain airborne for extended periods depending on the draft
conditions. The Expulsion Grenade cannot be launched.

APPLICATION: The Flameless Expulsion Grenade is most commonly used in
tactical deployment situations by Law Enforcement and Corrections.
Its applications include detection and/or dislodging barricaded subjects, or
for cell extractions. The purpose of the Flameless Expulsion Grenade is to minimize the risks to all parties through pain compliance, temporary discomfort and/or incapacitation of potentially violent or dangerous subjects. The minimal agent content and the powder carrier will not usually provide ample coverage to be effective outdoors, unless walls or barriers confine it.
It is not a suitable choice for outdoor crowd management. As a result of the Flameless Expulsion Grenades design, it may have erratic movement when deployed on hard surfaces such as concrete. This is desirable as the movement further restricts throwback potential. All grenades are overfilled which may result in excessive agent remaining in the grenade after deployment. The Flameless Expulsion Grenade will fit any tactical vest
designed to carry 37MM munitions.

This grenade's pyrotechnic contents are burned within an internal can that is one of three in this design. The internal combustion allows the chemical-laden smoke to release through three ports on the outer canister side while safely containing any of the fire-producing properties within the two internal canisters.

APPLICATION: The Tri-Chamber Flameless Grenade is most commonly used
in both crowd control and tactical deployment situations by Law Enforcement and Corrections, but was designed with the barricade situation in mind. Its applications in tactical situations are primarily to detect and/or dislodge barricaded subjects. It has also been used during high-risk warrant service operations.
The purpose of the Tri-Chamber Flameless Grenade is to minimize the risks
to all parties through pain compliance, temporary discomfort, and/or
incapacitation of potentially violent or dangerous subjects.
The Tri-Chamber Flameless Grenade provides the option of delivering a
pyrotechnic chemical device indoors maximizing the chemicals'
effectiveness via heat and vaporization, while minimizing or negating the
chance of fire to the structure. The actual smoke and chemical content is
minimal enough that oxygen displacement concerns and LCT is rarely
reached. It is a viable option when chemical-laden powders or liquids are
ineffective or inappropriate for the situation. As with all pyrotechnic carriers, contamination will be greater than that experienced with powders or liquids. The minimal agent content may make this device less suited for outdoor operations unless it is the operator's desire to deliver a small amount of agent prior to the use of larger canisters and payloads.

Designed for indoor use, this grenade contains no CFCs, is not a fire hazard and requires minimal decontamination by comparison to smoke, powders, or liquids.
OPERATION: The Aerosol Grenade incorporates an M201A style fuze
allowing the ability to toss the device without discharging its content in route to the target. Discharge time is exceptionally quick at three (3) seconds, virtually eliminating throwback potential. DUE TO ITS FRAGILE INTERNAL DESIGN AND WORKING PARTS, AVOID THROWING THE GRENADE IN A JARRING MANNER AGAINST HARD SURFACES.

APPLICATION: The Aerosol Grenade is most commonly used in tactical
situations by law enforcement and corrections and was designed with indoor operations in mind when a non-fire producing delivery system is desired. It is most effective when used in confined areas and close to the target area.
The purpose of the Aerosol Grenade is to minimize the risks to all parties
through pain compliance, temporary discomfort and/or incapacitation of
potentially violent or dangerous subjects.
The Aerosol Grenade is ideal for cell extractions or barricade situations
where the use of pyrotechnic, powder, or liquid devices is not practical or
desired. The OC and CS combination provide sufficient effects in confined
areas of up to 1500 square feet.
The Aerosol Grenade is not recommended for outdoor use.

OPERATION: The Stinger Grenade has an initial 1.5-second delay that initiates fuze assembly separation, followed by another 0.5-second delay before the function of the device. The blast is sufficient to project the rubber balls and optional chemical agent in a 50-foot radius.

APPLICATION: The Stinger Grenade is most widely used as a crowd
management tool by Law Enforcement and Corrections in indoor and outdoor operations. However, as with any pyrotechnic device fire-fighting equipment should be available. It has also proven successful in tactical operations.
As a pain compliance, distraction and disorientation device for crowd
management, it may be hand thrown or launched in the general direction of the crowd. It may be deployed for ground bursts or aerial bursts at the discretion of the operator. It is generally reserved as a last selection when chemical agents and specialty impact munitions have not resolved the disorder or routed the crowd. It has been used quite successfully for several years in correctional and jail facilities against non-compliant or riotous inmates.
Its applications in tactical deployment situations include high-risk warrant

This Device was designed for single or multiple target engagement allowing escalation of force from a safe distance prior to use of lethal means.
History/Background: The OC Expulsion Grenade was developed to overcome issues with indoor deployments of Chemical Munitions. This device expels an instant emission of OC for close range acquisition, with minimal amount of human contact in order to bring individuals in to compliance. This round does not have the heat related issues that traditional tear gas has associated with it.

Incapacitation Mechanism/Technology: The OC Expulsion Grenade is designed to cause disorientation through tearing and burning sensation in the eyes, violent coughing and extreme burning sensation to exposed skin surfaces.
